Mystery Writer - Sandy Semerad

Author Sandy Semerad has been a journalist, newspaper reporter, broadcast news director, columnist and editor. She earned a B.A. degree in journalism from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Before earning her degree, Semerad modeled for Atlanta Models and Talent and volunteered for political campaigns.

Sandy now lives in the Florida Panhandle and has survived three hurricanes and written two mystery novels. Her first novel, Mardi Gravestone, which is now being published by Books We Love Publising Partners and her newest release, Hurricane House from Treble Heart Books.

When Sandy isn't writing mysteries, she works with Village Profile, a national publishing company for Chamber literature and is a makeup artist through Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast Film Commission and Convention and Visitors Bureau.

She has also served on panels for SleuthFest, a major mystery writing conference in South Florida, put on by Mystery Writers of America Florida Chapter and she has spoken at the Emerald Coast Writers Conference in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Sandy has two grown daughters, Rene and Andrea, and a grand daughter Cody. She and husband Larry now live in Santa Rosa Beach, FL with a spoiled shih tzu named P-Nut.
